Its my experience...

It is my experience. Your experience may be different from me. So it a humble request to all of you believe on the given facts and avoid making judgment on the basis of my subjective writing as my understanding about HM and his relation with staff and community. Relationship is a very dynamic concept which varies between one person and another. A single person may behave with different people differently and the same person’s relationship might vary with single person at different times and situations. So believe on the basic fact that every individual has better part which needs to be explored and encouraged for the better cause as we are working with a mission towards school change.

We need to initiate our dialogue in such a manner that HM is given due respect. Ideas are discussed keeping in mind their situation and realties of surrounding. At some places they show their willingness to work for some areas that might be assembly we need to stand by them and can support in the process but we need to keep in mind one thing that activity is a tool and HM’s capacity development is our ultimate goal. Always remember change is a dynamic concept and its impacts are also dynamic in nature.

Our behavior and attitude towards work might influence some staff members and students. They work as a catalyst for school change process in that particular school. We need to take care for them. Doing Baalgeet may be seen as you are going in class and directly doing something. At the same time there are possibilities that other teachers may start telling story and doing other things which can draw the attention of students without being encouraged by HM. This also causes change in school. Ultimately we work with head master and he has a team.

Without team’s support any plan or idea of change is doubtful. While doing different effort and building relationship with HM moving towards work related discussion we need to emphasize the team building part through different plans like group discussion on any issue of their concern accepting their views initially and putting yours in a polite manner. Showing your confidence, firmness for the idea of change and flexibility in plan to deal with change may help a lot for your coming journey. That is all from my side. Wish you happy journey ahead. All the best for your onsite support.
