Taking admissions in Banaras Hindu University..

Taking admission in B.H.U. is a second very impotent decision of my life. This was solely my choice to read outside of my village in a university. In B.H.U. I learn to grow as a balance headed person. I learn to compare my own life in village and life in Varanasi.

This was a very impotent phase of my student life where i became more serious about my studies and made many friends from many disciplines and family backgrounds. Here i learn to implant the idea of acceptance for diversity. A liberal thinking was being part of my personality.

I came in contact with logical people like studying law, artist like studying arts, This gave me the broad view of different stream from medical to arts and from psychology to music, I participated in Youth festival of university known as Spandan in Hindi and English debate competition. Which made me confident for public speaking and i never look back.

Going Bhopal for pursuing journalism studies. When i took admission in journalism was very much clear that my habit of writing diary, interest in public speaking and travelling is going to design my cumming life. Here i came from diary to internet diary (blog writing) till a date i have written many pots and a book can be published on the experiences and idea written on blog. Here i learn to articulate any event or idea in a very easy way.

I wrote letter to editor, they got published it was my first public writing for publishing and media. I wrote few articles in news papers and during internship in star news (now ABP news) i cam to know the working style of electronic media. Journalism study and exposure put me very close to social reality and here i started thing about education and school in last semester and ultimately came to join Gandhi fellowship. I still remember two day's process and Interview with Vijay Dashmana and taking choice to start in chandrapur location to gave a new start to my life.

The Traveler ...

I am a very down to earth person. Have a very inquisitive mind. Very sincere regarding work at hand. Like to read a lot of books on. Have deep interest in making concept of my own experience and consolidating it through my writing. Like to interact and have a dialogue with people from different fields. Have a good sense of humor and an aesthetic sense which inspires me during photography, poetry writing and articulating my ideas in writing which finds place in my verbal communication.

I put my views in a interesting manner which attract the attention of people. It may be interesting and full of depth at the same time. I am aware about personality and very individualistic in my writing as i prefer originality of style. This motivates me to put my experience as an example rather than making assumptions. Where i have no idea about any issue, i accept it and understanding my limitations seek for support from others.

I  belong to a middle class family living in a small village of Gonda districts of Uttar Pradesh. Where i spend my childhood days, working in fields, taking care of cartels at home, playing different game with peer group and developing a deep connection with natural surrounding  Have very humble bonding with village and wants to contribute for it's development in future. There is a sugar mill close to my village, which have been a source of bringing modernization as people from different parts of country comes to work there.

There are three degree colleges and in my time there were two cinema halls where i see few films with my parents during childhood that diversity shaped my personalty to grow in different dimensions. My father is a Post man and mother is a home maker. My parents have been a source of motivation to me. They always encouraged me to pursue higher studies and proceed further in desired direction in life. They gave me sufficient freedom to follow my interest. which shaped me as a person to take decisions independently concerning my life. My younger brother is pursuing his second year in a polytechnic college from U.P. agriculture is other source of livelihood in my family.

here was a teacher in sugar mill's colony. Where I started going from class 3rd for private tuition but it was much more than that. I found a second family close to my village surrounding  Where i came to know the importance of education and it's role in human progress. The role of a teacher in shaping student's personality. The younger brother of my teacher was pursuing his graduation from Allahabad University in science stream, Simultaneously preparing for civil services.

This showed the seed of ambition to study in an university and after few years which became a small tree when i took admission in BHU.  He taught me how to approach reading and recalling of day to create experience  I develop a taste for English language as my sir taught me English translation at 8th- 9th level. which enabled me to comprehend the English lessons and i scored 65 marks in 10th exam which was highest in my family.

One day I will be away from this cohort..

A cohort means the team of soldiers or friends. Currently i am living in a fellowship cohort known as a team of vibrant people. Really it is because the people who are here thinks differently. There may be many reasons behind that they all are from different states all over the India. Their representation may vary keeping in mind the number of states but  the individual difference of the fellows makes it a platform to challenge one's own ideas and beliefs.

Putting an idea generate many opinion from the same group who lives together, eat together , travel together  and have very friendly relation with each other. They work as a team but when it comes to ideas they are very individualistic in approaching that similar idea. This creates a situation very similar to Indian democracy where no single idea, ideology, faith, religion, region, cast and other identity can be accepted as it is.

There will be a debate to decide the acceptable program to be implemented in a particular region. This demands for common minimum program (CMM) to be implemented in future. Here we enjoyed the atmosphere of a debating society which is missing from the scene of the civil society. They are debating their own agenda to serve their own interest to work in their own domain.

At the same time they don't wish to have dialogue with the other institutions working in the same area.  Which seems to be biggest loss foe our nation as a whole because all the issues on very deep are softly and closely connected to each other. Without having a very broad view we will not be able to understand the real picture like the story of the elephant passing through a village.
